In-House Customer-Owned Tooling
All production tooling is designed, programmed and machined in high quality aluminum. Typical tooling is dedicated, with multiple cavities of the same style exclusive to that tool. We do not run combination runs with single cavity tools per style. Insertable tools are available if the part length and width are consistent and the depth and style are similar. Tool costs include a one-up prototype tool and samples, submitted for fit and function approval prior to completion of the production tool. Production tooling is usually ready and running within four to six weeks of prototype approval. Cutting dies are in steel rule and are also made in-house. Tooling is customer owned and we store and maintain its quality for the life of your product.
